It is indisputable that KARTAJ lives in the daytime with the piece Red Sun, although it is thanks to the yawum piece that prolific Karl ARLESH discovered the way. Indeed, while working with the artist JUHAMAHAT on his(its) Maxi first one “Dream-merchant” Karl ARLESH, then sound engineer of EKOVA, found the just balance of the music that he(it) to wish realized. Karl ARLESH, big admirer of the feminine voices(votes), and particularly the group DEAD CAN DANCE, knows from then on the road which he wishes to pursue artistically. And so, pursuing his(its) collection of the search(research) for the beautiful, he(it) collaborates with the opera singer Sarah LABELLE-ROUGEAU with the aim of creating a piece. The piece in question, Red Sun, put exactly three years being outlined. To begin on tablecloths of keyboards reggae, to sprinkle air voices(votes) of Sarah, Red Sun will have to wait for more than year before seeing itself decked out by a riff of guitar, and on one year more before Karl ARLESH finds the adequate singing(song). It will also be necessary to wait for the meeting with Imen TNANI who will add it the oriental voices(votes) which will complete marvelously.
Exactly in May, 2003, Karl ARLESH meets Imen TNANI, Artistes-peintre and student-researcher, Singer with a significant experience(experiment) of the scene(stage), considered as a national hope in Tunisia. Their universes unite at once, and, around a common passion for DEAD CAN DANCE, begin then a fruitful collaboration. At the beginning rather centred on the work of studio, or they polish up their fragments, and the recording of B.O. of short film, in particular “Islands to the Slaves” of AJJAR’ a Hour in 2006, KARTAJ lands shyly on stage in June, 2006 in The KEY (78 / Saint-Germain-en-Laye) and participates in the exhibition(exposure) “LIGHTS” during Heritage Days to CERGY. Then KARTAJ enchaine about twenty concerts until June, 2007 or he participates in the festival FURIA (95 / Val-d’Oise) and takes(brings) out for the opportunity(occasion) its first CD single “TAREN”.
In September, 2007 KARTAJ finalizes the B.O. of “SAMA” of Ludivine ADDUCE who will be spread(diffused) during 12 ? New York Avignon Film Festival in New York, in Rome or still in Czechoslovakia.
Since KARTAJ share his(her,its) time(weather) between concert and studio preparing a Maxi 5 title by waiting for the finalization of an album. KARTAJ also prepares a video clip of the piece “Rush in Heaven”
